FREE BODIES
THE PROGRAM
The program typically spans from October to May of the following year.

During the initial five months, our emphasis is on the creative aspect. Participants are immersed in creative processes, engaging in the creation of pieces and participating in choreographic workshops. This immersive experience allows them to explore a diverse range of methods and practices that will contribute to their long-term artistic development.

The final three months are dedicated to gaining valuable stage experience through performances in theaters and festivals. We are excited to offer various formats, including performances in traditional theaters, on the streets, and in unconventional spaces, ensuring that participants develop the skills needed to adapt to any performance situation.

In addition, we facilitate collaborations with professionals from various backgrounds, such as video-makers, photographers, and entrepreneurs in the dance industry. This ensures that participants have the opportunity to explore multiple facets of the dance industry and broaden their understanding of the field.

Structure of a typical day: The day starts with a warm-up (ballet, contemporary dance, yoga or physical theatre), followed by rehearsals all day.
Number of hours per week: 30 hours
Fee: 4.500€ (+500€ administration fee)

- Participants will enjoy complimentary access to the three spaces in FREEZONE spaces until 6:00 p.m. daily.
- All current-year participants are eligible for complimentary enrollment in LATE PRO TRAINING sessions.
- Additionally, participants of the current year will benefit from discounted rates for AfterNOON CLASS and our monthly WORKSHOP Guests hosted at FREEZONE.
- Participants of the current year will also receive complimentary admission to the monthly Jams organized by FREEZONE.
- Throughout the duration of the program, participants will have access to all audiovisual materials produced, including photographs captured by Aurélie Veyrat.
- Participants in the FREE BODIES program will receive a professional video documenting the creation of their solo project during the third quarter.
- Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate corresponding to their program. This certificate will detail attendance hours, instructors, and any projects completed during the course. Please note, individuals who are absent for 20% or more of the scheduled teaching hours without valid justification will not be eligible to receive the certificate.
