HISTORY

Based in Barcelona, FREE BODIES was created by Nadine Gerspacher and Nico Ricchini. A few years later, in 2022, they opened a new space, FREEZONE, and created another program called FREE ROOTS.

Since then, FREEZONE is establishing itself as a referent venue in Barcelona for classes, open stages, workshops, residencies, jam sessions and space rental. 

​

In 2024, the FREEZONE team is launching its new program FREE PULSE.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide young artists, professionals and dance enthusiasts with the best tools to achieve their dreams, consolidate the dance industry as a career path and bring contemporary dance to the public at large.
